Here comes Peter Cotton-tail, hopping down the raftup
trail. Hippity Hoppity – Easter is
on its way and that means the annual BCBC Easter raftup at Benicia Yacht Club
is on its way too!
Come by land or by
sea, but don’t miss this event.
We already have 15 boats registered for the weekend of April
2nd - 4th. If you are planning on bringing your
boat, please email Jeff Malkasian (jeff@malkasian.net)
ASAP so that we can add you to the slip roster. We need to know the following information about your
vessel: LOA, Beam, & Draft in
addition to your arrival and departure date.
Discounted slip fees are per night (see below) and include
30 AMP shore power. There is a $20.00
key deposit due upon arrival.
Slip fees are non-refundable once we make the final reservation.
30’ & Under $19.00
31’ – 40’ $24.00
41’ – 55’ $35.00
56’ & Up $45.00
For those not coming by boat, drive on down and join us on
the docks for fun on Saturday. See
the schedule below and arrive in time to participate in the activities of the
day. If you need access to the
dock, call Jeff (415.350.0556) or Steve (415.350.4017).

FRIDAY – JOIN THE
EASTER PARADE
0715: Meet
at the channel entrance outside of Emeryville Marina to join fellow BCBC boats as we caravan in an Easter Parade to Benicia together. If you are berthed farther north, join
us underway. We will monitor VHF
Channel 69. If you are
planning on joining the parade, please send us an email to let us know. This will be a great chance to get shots of your boat underway for those needing vessel photography.
1000 – 1700:
Arrivals
1800: B Dock
Cocktail Social. Bring your
“springiest” appetizer to share.
Dinner is on your own after the cocktail party. There are many great restaurants
within walking distance of the marina.
SATURDAY - CELEBRATE
SPRING
Enjoy the day in Benicia - have breakfast, walk around,
hangout, whatever takes your fancy.
Weather permitting, we will have kite flying on the lawn nearby.
1500: Easter
Egg Decorating Contest.
We’ll bring the eggs & dye - you bring your artistic talent. Decorate your own Easter Egg for
the Armenian Egg contest to follow dinner.
1800: No Host
Cocktail Social before dinner at Benicia Yacht Club. Appetizers will be served during the cocktail
hour.
1900: Sit Down
Easter Dinner at Benicia Yacht Club.

If you are a vegetarian, please let us know when you tell us your choice and the chef will accommodate the request. The price will be similar to the chicken.
